The Town of Irricana is excited to announce the return of Irricanarama, our annual community celebration, taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Now in its third year, Irricanarama continues to grow as a signature community event that brings together residents, visitors, businesses, organizations, and volunteers for a full day of family-friendly fun, entertainment, and community spirit.
Last year’s event welcomed more than 1,000 attendees, and planning is already underway to make this year’s celebration even bigger and better.
Calling All Businesses, Organizations & Community Groups
The Irricanarama Planning Committee is inviting local businesses, non-profits, organizations, clubs, and residents to be part of the event by hosting activities, sponsoring event features, volunteering, or contributing donations.
Community events like Irricanarama create opportunities to showcase partnerships, volunteerism, local pride, and community engagement while offering organizations and businesses valuable exposure and recognition.
Ways to Get Involved
There are many exciting opportunities to participate, including:
- Hosting or organizing an activity
- Sponsoring a Kids Zone activity or entertainment feature
- Coordinating a vendor fair or community booth
- Organizing a parade, scavenger hunt, contest, or movie night
- Supporting a walk/run along the Meadowlark Trail
- Providing food services such as a barbeque, pancake breakfast, or pizza
- Sponsoring portable washrooms or event infrastructure
- Donating refreshments, supplies, prizes, or in-kind services
- Offering live entertainment or performances
- Volunteering during the event
The Planning Committee also welcomes new and creative ideas from community members interested in contributing to the event.

- Car Cruise & Car Show
- Glitter Tattoos
- Petting Zoo
- Kid Zone
- Daytime Band & Entertainment
- Car Show Awards
- Face Painting
- Masonic Lodge Open House and Barbeque
- Vendor Market
- Bouncy Castles/Obstacles
Additional activities and entertainment will continue to be announced throughout the summer.
Sponsorship Opportunities
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations wishing to support the event. Sponsorship levels include:
Host Contributor (In-Kind Sponsorship)
Provide volunteers, supplies, or support for an activity.
Community Partner – $100+
Monetary sponsorship supporting event operations and activities.
Activity/Event/Kid Zone Sponsor – $500+
Sponsor a specific activity area or event feature.
Gold Community Sponsor – $1,000+
Premier sponsorship recognition throughout the event. Sponsors receive recognition through event signage, social media, advertising campaigns, the Gateway Gazette newsletter, volunteer recognition initiatives, and more.
