On October 22nd & 23rd, 2024, the Town of Irricana will be upgrading our outdated phone system as part of our commitment to improving customer service and managing operational costs.
What’s New?
- ✅ Better direct dialling and improved call routing
- ✅ Enhanced menu options to more efficiently direct calls
- ✅ Integration with our existing software systems
- ✅ Full portability for emergency management
Beyond the significant functional improvements, the upgrade will reduce telecom costs by $8,000 – $10,000 annually.
The transition will begin Tuesday afternoon (October 22nd) and should be completed by the end of the day Wednesday (October 23rd). There may be brief, intermittent outages, but overall service will remain steady.
