🌱 Messy Play on the Farm (Morning)

Did you know all children learn through play? Do you want to connect with other families? Parents attend with their children 0-17 years old. Messy Play on the Farm aims to bring people of all ages together to enjoy a day of outside fun, allowing for families to grow stronger by building connections. Parents are encouraged to follow the lead of their children regardless of age, child led play encourages social and cognitive development, fosters independence, builds intrinsic motivation and supports resilience. During this group Parent Coaches provide parenting insights, resources, answer questions about child behaviour and development and offer information on upcoming community programs and events as well as connect you with Community Links Support Services.
Activities are carefully chosen with stage of development and family diversity in mind. In this open farm space, you will find areas for dramatic play, outdoor physical play, creative arts, sensory, development and challenges for all developing minds.
