One Councillor Position Available
The Town of Irricana will hold a Municipal By-Election on Monday, December 14, 2026, to fill one vacant position on Town Council. Eligible electors will have the opportunity to vote for one Councillor to serve on Town Council.

Town Council meets twice per month, with additional opportunities for Councillors to participate on planning and regional committees.

Nomination packages are be available for individuals interested in running for the vacant Councillor position!
The Candidate Package includes important information about the nomination process, eligibility requirements, required forms, and other information prospective candidates should review before submitting their nomination.
Candidate packages can be delivered in-person at the Town Office during regular business hours with prior appointment by emailing irricana@irricana.com.

Completed nomination papers must be submitted by:
12:00 noon on November 16, 2026.
Late submissions cannot be accepted.
