📌 Supporting Young Caregivers Through the Powerhouse Program

Caregivers Alberta is partnering with Young Caregivers Association and Wellspring Alberta to offer a 4-week pilot program focused on helping young people build personal strength, positive self-esteem and well-being, and gaining insights into their unique role as a young caregiver. It will also provide opportunities to connect with other youth who have similar experiences of supporting a family member.

This pilot is focused on young caregivers aged 18-25. Sessions are held in person at Wellspring Randy O’Dell House once a week with dinner provided.
