As the Collection Bins are filling up fast, the Service Provider has arranged for another Large Bin to be delivered to the Irricana Community Hall to accommodate further disposal of residents Large Items and Construction Waste. This Bin should be at the Hall by 1:00 pm Nov 4th. Thank you for your patience.
Due to a positive change in weather that has improved fire conditions, the Fire Advisory that was in effect from October 20, 2017 for the area of Rocky View has been lifted, effective Nov 2/17. Effective October 20, 2017 - 11:00 am A Fire Advisory has been declared for Rocky View County. This advisory represents a moderate fire risk. Permit burning in the Rocky View County area is banned due to dry/windy conditions. All outstanding burning permits are suspended until further notice. This fire advisory shall be in effect until such time as the Fire Chief's Office deems appropriate to change for purposes of the Forest and Prairie Protection Act and the Rocky View County Prevention and Control of Fires Bylaw. Water Line Repair is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 8:00 am. Access to Gib Bell will be affected and residents are asked to please choose alternate parking for the duration of the repair. (Anticipated time is one day).
