Fire Advisory Lifted

Due to a positive change in weather that has improved fire conditions, the Fire Advisory that was in effect from Sept 14, 2017 for the area of Rocky View has been lifted.    All residents requesting renewal of a burning permit can contact the Fire Services department at (403) 230-1401.

Fire Advisory (downgraded from Ban)

2017 Municipal Election – Important Dates

Sept 18th: Nomination Day (10:00 am - 12:00 Noon) at Municipal Office.  Nomination Forms can be picked up at the Town Office - 222 2nd Street  (Irricana Centennial Centre). Oct 10th:  Advance Vote (4:00 - 9:00 pm) at Irricana Library (226 2nd Street) Oct 16th:  Election Day at the Irricana Community Hall (300 1st Avenue)

Garbage P/Up Mon Aug 28th – Madison Drive

Residents along the Construction site on Madison Drive are asked to place their Bins on Driveways only (not on the street) for Monday August 28th.    The Garbage Truck will have access to Madison Drive. Thank you for your co-operation.

Madison Avenue Construction Update

Construction will continue along Madison Drive into Saturday, Aug. 26th.  Residents should continue to park in the alternate temporary parking location. Construction is on schedule and should be completed by Friday Sept 1st. Garbage:  Garbage Truck will have access to Madison Drive on Monday.  Residents should leave their Bins on the back of the curb and NOT on the street. Thank you for your patience during construction.

Pigeon Show (AFTC Club)

On Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 7:00 am, members from the Alberta Flying Tippler Club will be at the Irricana Soccer Fields, located south of the splash park, with their Tippler Pigeons to show and fly these birds.     Public are welcome.

Madison Drive – Alternate Parking (Security)

For any residents who may be affected by the road construction on Madison Drive, a temporary parking area has been set up, which is located in the green space at the NE end of Madison Drive. A Security Company has been engaged to monitor vehicles parked at this location for the duration of the construction process.  Please call the Town Office at (403) 935-4672 with any questions you may have.  Thank you.
