A Fire Ban has been declared for Rocky View County, effective July 19, 2017. This ban represents a Severe Fire Risk. This fire ban shall be in effect until such time as the Fire Chief's Office deems appropriate to change for purposes of the Forest and Prairie Protection Act and the Rocky View County Prevention and Control of Fires Bylaw. This Ban includes: Incinerators (for farm and acreage use); regulated burning barrels; solid fuel barbecues (charcoal briquettes); recreational camp fires (approved burn pit 24``in diameter or less); chimeneas; fires contained within approved facilities and appliances in designated camping and recreational areas. Tax Notices for the 2017 Calendar Year have been processed and are now in the mail, as at July 14th. Please watch your mailbox for your Property Tax Notice. Payment is due by August 13th, to avoid a 6% penalty. Thank you.

Special Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm, at the Irricana Municipal Library - Lions Meeting Room (Gladys Taylor Building - 226 - 2nd Street). Council will be reviewing and working towards finalizing the 2017 Budget. This meeting is open to the Public.
Tax Notices for the 2017 Property Tax Year have not as yet gone out. Town Council are continuing to finalize the Budget and subsequently set the Mill Rate. Once Tax Notices are mailed, they are due 30 days from that date. Thank you.
